As a writer, William is passionate about the dissonance between deep philosophical quandaries of our past. The truth is not in the answers, but the questions. My work is rooted in popular genres, like noir/mysteries, westerns, and thrillers, and I strive to capture the underlying questions of previous works, and expound upon them with a modern lens. I hope to bring simple stories to a broad audience. There is often more power in the things left unsaid. I believe that even children’s stories can carry rich, deep messages to its readers.

I love books like Shane, Big Sleep, Big Nowhere, The Road, and Die A Little. When I’m not reading fiction, I love learning about the American Revolution and the American West. I dabble in the philosophy of Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell.

William lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two kids. He works in the film industry as a gaffer and cinematographer. When he's not working or writing, he's playing piano, or going on adventures with his family. They have two cats, O'Shaughnessy and Gus.
